Maggie Brennan (they/them) is an actor, writer, and teaching artist based in NYC + PHL. Originally from the mountains of rural Pennsylvania, they graduated with honors from Temple University’s theater program. They’ve also trained at The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.
Maggie’s performances have been praised for their “ease, clarity, and smoldering intensity” (Cat Ramirez, Director). Their debut short film script CARE TAKER was a quarter-finalist in the 2025 BlueCat Screenplay Competition and received production support from the Philadelphia Independent Media Fund. They are a two-time recipient of Creative Philadelphia’s Illuminate the Arts Grant.
On stage and off, they’re deeply passionate about transparency, equity, and accessibility in the arts for all.
